Curriculum

Our curriculum is geared to the individual readiness of each student. We will give each child tools to enable him/her to learn on their own, as well as with others. This will allow them to develop academic independence while maturing their social skills in the same setting. The children will learn through structured play, interactive group lessons, and one-on-one teaching, weekly chapel, and daily “Jesus time.”

Teachers

Our instructors are highly experienced in early childhood development. Our teachers are all CDA (Child Development Associate) certified. All staff are trained and certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. As well as pass state mandated courses in recognizing and reporting abuse and neglect and identifying signs of illness. In addition, all staff are required to attend annual continuing education classes relating to early childhood development.

Academy Placement

Upon successful completion of our Pre-K program, your child will have first priority for testing and placement into CornerStone Christian Academy’s kindergarten classes. This testing will take place midyear. Areas assessed include not just academics, but social and emotional maturity as well as discipline and behavioral issues.

Enrollment Information

Enrollment will be open to children who are toilet-trained and are three or four years old on or before September 30. No Exceptions.
